I had an amazing Pimento Cheese Burger. The BBQ and fried food were very good as well. Found the signs and rules posted throughout the building to be excessive, but the food is so good you can eat past it. The proximity to the square and music makes the location perfect for a quick lunch.

Delicious little BBQ joint. Tons of food at a fair price. I left stuffed.

Food was pretty good I have to say. And girls who worked the counter were very nice. However, there was an unsettling amount of aggressive signs. Seems like the owner doesn't even want people to come in...

Best smoked bologna anywhere. Must have been a quarter pound of meat or whatever bologna is made of. I'll be back for another one next time I in mountain view

Burgers are amazing! Prices and service was friendly and prompt. I definitely recommend trying this place for a good afternoon meal.

We called to see if they had indoor dining available and they said yes. They asked when we were coming so my husband asked what time they closed. We were told they didn't have certain hours and we could just come now. When we tried to place our order they were either out of what we ordered or had already put it away for the day. My husband finally found something they had available and then it was my turn. I asked what came on the Frito pie and the lady responded, "Fritos, chili, and cheese, but we're out of chili and cheese". I decided to eat elsewhere. Not a good first (and last) impression!

Can't say enough on how great this place is! Awesome food and service! Next time I'm in town I assure you I'll eat there every time.

Food was decent except for the nachos supreme which was processed cheese and chili! I went in to get a BBQ nacho and was told that the nacho supreme had BBQ meat which it did not have any on it. I asked to changed it out and the owner was very rude and said that is what they ordered. So, actually no it was not what we ordered we plainly asked if it had BBQ meat on it. We were told it had BBQ meat cheese and sour cream not chili and no BBQ meat. Then on top of that my spouse's chili cheese dog did not even come out with the order! Clearly their is a lack of social and business skills! It is not hard to fix an order when some one comes in a good bit and pays nearly 30 dollars for the food. We will not be going back and will make sure this is known all around the area!!!

This is a very Mom & Pop fast food with good food at very reasonable prices. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Eat in or take out.

Good but crowded

The BBQ was good, not great. This isn't a place you go out of your way to find or eat at. It just happens to be one of few choices in a small town. The "profanity will not be tolerated" signs are a throwback to the 50s, i guess? I don't know if they have problems with that from the locals, or what. It is inexpensive and you get good sized portions. Seating is pretty limited, as is parking

Good food, awesome service! Just wish they had a little bigger selection if sides. Ie, macaroni.

Quaint place with out of this world bbq sandwiches. Beans and cornbread we're pretty good too.

Food was bland, no flavor and too expensive for what I received.

This is a very nice place with good food and decent prices. It’s got a screened in porch if you like to eat outside along with some picnic tables or you can eat inside with the air conditioning if it is too hot. It’s a bit crowed at times, but what do you expect if the food is good. I loved the French Fried Pickles. Those were new to me, but really good. It is located across the street from the picking park.

Best lol place in town

Very sour beans no meat even in the beans which would make it sweeter. And very talkative staff. And my meat wasn’t even pulled apart for the nacho. And my husbands sandwich was very small. Neither of us left full.

I don't eat BBQ enough to say if it's extraordinary in any way. However, this place was highly recommended by a few locals. Parking was ok but I imagine by late spring/summer it will be packed, especially with all the music being played at the town squares. Staff was extremely polite and even checked on our table when lunch rush was happening. Free refills on fountain drinks. Got the monster BBQ pork sandy with fries and BBQ beans. Fries weren't much to write home about but everything else was quite good. Even took half home and 2 days later was still tasty, sign of a good sandy!

Good food! But slow

The BBQ plate was excellent. My wife had the chicken salad and it was as good as the BBQ. We could smell it from down the street and it had my mouth watering. The prices were also very reasonable and the people friendly.

Great service and food. My friends and I went there for lunch and it was quite a delicious and great place to get lunch. I got the BBQ which was delicious and the meat fell off the bone. I highly recommend it.

We ate here on the Fourth of July. The food was great. Very good BBQ. The plate size was very good for the money. There are not many tables inside with the air conditioning but on an average day probably wouldn't have been a problem. The wait time was not long and the service was friendly and prompt with refills.

The pork sandwich is excellent. It needs extra sauce so ask. The pork was so tender and juicy! The French fries are real home made like sliced potato wedges with the perfect balance between crunchy and soft. The French fries are the best I have had since McDonald's ruined theirs in the 1980s when they switched to vegetable oil for frying. Also the fried cherry pie was excellent. Baked beans were canned and potato salad is not homemade. The service is excellent though you order at a counter rather than waitress.

Food was okay but not as great as people in the community said it was. Ordered rack of ribs and they were a little tough. One staff member was very nice and friendly but another one was really rude with short answers and at one point I thought would roll her eyes! I am so glad she didn’t. We got there at 6:00 and was served pretty quick.

Kin Folks BBQ was a really good little restaurant with a delicious chicken sandwich (juicy, tender and hot!). My husband indulged in the fried bologna sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. The crinkle fries were really delicious! After dinner, we got a huge ice cream cone for only $2.25.

Its was Great ! Best BBQ! Great fried green beans everything Amazing and You sure cant beat the down home friendly Folks n Mike's Wonderful Antics ! ! !

Restaurant has a great atmosphere and excellent outside seating in a screened in porch. The service was excellent and got my food quickly.

This place is great. The food is fresh and oh so good. Everyone is friendly. The staff is attentive and courteous. The owner is the nicest guy you could ever meet. I will eat here every time we come through Mountain View.
